Stacey Gregg
Stacey Gregg (King’s, 2002) has a gift for telling LGBT+ stories through stage and screen. From their time as LGBT+ Officer at King's to their career as a writer-director, Stacey has demonstrated a commitment to creating a queer affirming environment.
Stacey’s 2016 play SCORCH about a gender questioning teen won international accolades including a Fringe First, Irish Times and Irish Writers Guild Award for Best Play, and was included in the syllabus at Ulster University. Their audio performance DISCO DYKES will premiere this autumn in Belfast, developed during their time as a Seamus Heaney Fellow at Queen’s University. They directed on HBO/ Sky's limited series THE BABY centring queer stories and themes, wrote for Sky's Anaïs Nin inspired LITTLE BIRDS and more recently MARY & GEORGE, centring the relationship between King James I and George Villiers. Upcoming projects include BUKOLIA, a queer scifi for BBC Film.
