Simon Russell Beale
Sir Simon Russell Beale CBE (Caius, 1979) is a Piece of Work.
Described by the FT as “one of Britain’s most prolific and revered stage actors” and by the Evening Standard as “the chubby, gay son of an army doctor”, Simon has won Baftas, Oliviers and a Tony. He has an honorary doctorate from the Open University, and is an honorary bencher of Middle Temple and an honorary fellow of Sommerville College, Oxford.
