Mat Maddocks

Mat Maddocks (Jesus, 1996) is co-founder of the Cambridge University LGBT+ Alumni Association, a trustee of trans charity Mermaids and a co-founder of Transpire Talent, the UK's first recruitment agency focused on the trans+ community.

A natural competitor, Mat is an enthusiastic member of the London Stags rugby club, one the country’s leading LGBT+ inclusive sports team. A leader in the insurance industry, Mat has been involved with a number of LGBT+ and diversity initiatives.

 

Mat and his husband Kevin were the first gay male couple to formally marry at Jesus College.
