Jerry Daykin

Jerry Daykin (Fitzwilliam, 2002) is a globally recognised leader in the space of inclusion within advertising, and in particular a champion of LGBT+ representation in the UK marketing industry.

Jerry founded and co-chairs the World Federation of Advertisers (WFA) DEI Task Force and led a project with two dozen senior marketers to create an open source resource to make marketing more inclusive - he built on that to literally write the book on 'Inclusive Marketing'. He was a founding member of and now Non-Executive Director of Outvertising, the non-profit supporting LGBT+ people working in advertising, and encouraging brands to make more inclusive advertising.

He sits on the board of 'Advertising All In', across industry initiative to track and improve diversity in UK marketing. As a Board member of the Conscious Advertising Network Jerry has twice presented at UN Human Rights events in Geneva to cross the bridge between advertisers and human rights specialists. He was awarded an Adweek 'Pride Star' and has twice been shortlisted for the British LGBT Awards.

In his career he has held senior roles leading global digital or media teams at large advertisers including Cadbury/Mondelez, Diageo, GSK and most recently at Restaurant Brands International.
