Prior to joining LCP, Francesca had taken a career break for anxiety, driven in part by a requirement to "go back in the closet" in jobs she had held after university. Francesca co-founded O:Pen, the Pension Industry's first LGBT+ network, in 2020, and was recognised as an Professional Pensions Industry Rising Star in 2021.

Fast forward three years and Francesca is on maternity leave! Sha has a child with her LGBT+ Network Co-Founder, Catherine - the only other openly gay female Partner at LCP. They are the first same sex couple to have a family in the firm, and are engaged to be married - leading the way as proud and open role models for LGBT+ individuals in the pensions industry.
