Finbarr Toesland

Finbarr Toesland (Fitzwilliam, 2019) is an investigative journalist who has persistently shed light on key issues across the LGBT+ community. Notably he has led investigations into the oppression facing LGBT+ journalists in UK media with the Sir Lenny Henry Centre for Media Diversity, been the voice of LGBT+ peoples on the ground in Ukraine during the full-scale Russian invasion, and uncovered the rise of conversion therapy across Europe (a network linking UK, USA, Eastern Europe et al). He regularly features in NBC News, BBC, Reuters, British Vogue, openDemocracy and more.
